Lincoln families now have an exciting new community resource to explore: FiftyOne Commons! A vibrant campus created by Family Service Lincoln that brings together affordable housing, hands-on learning opportunities, healthy food access, and neighborhood connections—all in one place.
Located in Northeast Lincoln, FiftyOne Commons was built with a simple but powerful mission in mind: helping families thrive.
For more than 130 years, Family Service Lincoln has supported children and families across our community, and FiftyOne Commons expands that commitment by creating opportunities for learning, growth, and belonging.
STEAM Activity Center
At the heart of the campus is the STEAM Activity Center, where kids can explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through engaging, hands-on experiences.
The center features a makerspace, multimedia studio, computer learning lab, recreation area, classroom, and a half-court gym. Throughout the year, families can take part in weekend activities, school-break programs, summer camps, and special events designed to spark creativity and curiosity.
Community Crops Garden
FiftyOne Commons is also home to a Family Service Lincoln Community Crops garden. The garden provides space for families, kids, and neighbors to grow fresh produce, learn about gardening, and connect with one another through shared experiences. It’s a place where healthy food, education, and community come together.
Affordable Housing
The campus includes affordable rowhouse rentals that help address Lincoln’s growing need for quality housing.
Residents have access to supportive services and resources that help strengthen family stability and long-term success.
