Make a Difference in Our Community This Summer!

Summer break is the perfect time to try something new and make a difference! Volunteering is a great way to do this.

If you’re looking for some ways to give back this summer, here are a few opportunities to do so. Have a fun, meaningful summer while spending your free time helping others!

Food Bank of Lincoln

No one in our community should ever have to worry about where their next meal is coming from. Help families in need by sorting food or volunteer during events at the Food Bank of Lincoln. Work with others who want to make a difference! Make sure to wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Lincoln Animal Ambassadors

Prevent pet homelessness by helping pet owners take care of their furry friends! Lincoln Animal Ambassadors has programs like spay/neuter vouchers and pet food banks. By volunteering, you can help keep animals in their loving homes, right where they belong! Volunteers younger than 16 can join with an adult.
